3/4 cup Almond Flour

1 tbsp Coconut Flour

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

1 Egg (large)

1 tbsp Butter (melted )

2/3 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

100 grams Smoked Salmon

½ Avocado (sliced)

1/2 tsp Lemon Juice

Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)


  1. Combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, egg, melted butter, and almond milk to a bowl and stir until well combined. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.

  2. In the meantime, preheat the waffle iron and coat with coconut oil. Also preheat the oven to 100˚C to keep the waffles warm later.

  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and bake for 3-4 minutes or until the waffle doesn't stick to the waffle iron anymore. Transfer to a plate and place in the oven to keep warm while continuing with the remaining batter.

  4. When done, transfer waffles to serving plates. Arrange salmon and avocado on top, sprinkle with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Enjoy!
